Connecting The Dots Between Higher Education And Athletics

I was a guest on News & Brews, a weekly show hosted by Katie Davis (@KatieDavisCPA) and Ken Kurdziel (@KenKurdzielCPA) of the collegiate athletics services division of James Moore and Company. The conversation was wide-ranging talking about how higher education, specifically their athletic departments, will likely respond to COVID-19. Most of my comments refer to NCAA institutions at the division II & III levels, as well as what we would consider public regional institutions or mid-majors.

I also talk briefly about my plans for Higher Ed Athletics that you might find helpful if you plan on following HEA Insider. Included in that is my soon-to-be-released research on athlete enrollment at smaller institutions and how these colleges, mostly small private institutions, rely heavily on athletes to keep the doors open.
