Studying the Athletic Director position since 2019

AD Decisions

Aspiring ADs

I help aspiring athletic directors (or sitting ADs looking for a school/division change) with qualitative-driven services designed to prepare them for the realities of the role before they step into it. After more than 40 hours of in-depth interviews with sitting ADs through the HEA Podcast since 2019, HEA is now starting The AD Lab to speed up and improve the search model.

Presidents & Chancellors

  • Evaluative Report for Onboarding New President/Chancellor or Athletic Director

Every good AD has a shortlist of coaches in case they have to make an expected or unexpected change – why shouldn’t a president have a shortlist for their next AD? Having served as an assistant and project manager to a B1G president and chief of staff, a 10+ year career in athletic administration and completing doctorate coursework in higher education administration (ABD status) gives me a lens that many in executive search do not possess.
